Menurutnya, masyarakat dan Pemerintah Indonesia pada prinsipnya mendukung upaya perdamaian.<\/p>\n<p>Kalla juga menyebut Presiden Prabowo Subianto siap apabila diminta untuk berperan sebagai penengah dalam konflik tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresiden Prabowo siap untuk menjadi penengah dalam konflik ini. Namun tentu dibutuhkan persetujuan kedua belah pihak. Ini hal yang selalu dipikirkan oleh mereka,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Meski demikian, Kalla menegaskan bahwa kemungkinan mediasi tersebut masih akan dibicarakan lebih lanjut dengan pemerintah dan bergantung pada kesediaan semua pihak yang terlibat.
